Dr Ellen Welch is an NHS GP and author with more than 20 years medical experience. Her career has included more than a decade working as a senior cruise ship doctor, alongside roles in expedition, ski medicine and as a repatriation doctor, accompanying travellers who became unwell overseas.
This combination of clinical and international experience has given her particular expertise in travel health and providing medical care outside traditional healthcare settings.
She is the resident medical expert for Ancile Insurance Group Ltd, providing medical review and expert input into Ancile’s consumer health and travel content.
