Single trip insurance (over 65s)
Our over 65 Single trip travel insurance is designed to cover you for one specific holiday or trip, from the time you leave your home, to the time you arrive back again.
We can cover holidays up to 94 days in duration to any destination in the world (providing the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office is not advising against non-essential travel).
Cruise insurance (over 65)
Cruise holidays (both river and ocean cruises) are covered as standard on all over 65 travel insurance policies from Total Travel Protection.
We can cover individual cruise holidays up to 94 days in duration. Remember to tell us all the different countries you will be visiting when you get a quotation.

I am well over the age of 65, can you still provide travel insurance cover?
Yes, our travel insurance has no upper age limit, so whether you are only just over 65, or your 65 birthday is a distant memory, your age will not prevent you from getting travel insurance cover.
I am over 65, but my travel companion isn’t, can your travel insurance cover both of us?
Yes, we can provide travel insurance cover for any age, but we specialise in providing cover for those over aged over 65 and their travelling companions. If you are over 65 and travelling with family and friends who are younger than you (including children and grandchildren) we can cover you all on the same travel insurance policy.
I am over 65 and plan to do some hiking on holiday, can you cover me?
Our travel insurance policies for over 65s include cover for a number of activities as standard, including hiking or trekking up to height of 2000 metres. Cover can also be extended to include hiking or trekking up to a height of 3000 metres.
