Single trip insurance (over70s)
As the name suggests, our over 70 single trip travel insurance is intended to cover you for one specific holiday or trip, from the moment you leave your home, until when you’re back again.
Cover can include a holiday of up to 94 days long, and to anywhere in the world you want to travel (provided the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office is not advising against non-essential travel).
Cruise insurance (over 70)
Whether you’re planning to cruise by ocean or by river, all types of cruise holidays are covered as standard on all our over 70 travel insurance policies at Total Travel Protection.
We’d be delighted to cover cruises of up to 94 days, just let us know which countries you’ll be visiting when you request a quotation.

I am significantly past age 70, can you still deliver travel insurance cover?
Absolutely! We have no upper age limit regarding our travel insurance cover.
So, whether you’re 71 or 101 (or older!), your date of birth will not exclude you from being insured with us.
I am over 70, but travelling with someone younger, can you provide travel insurance for us both?
We can indeed. We specialise in cover for the over 70s, but can absolutely provide travel insurance cover for those they’re travelling with too, regardless of age.
If you are over 70 and planning to holiday with friends and/or family who are younger than you (children and grandchildren included) we can tailor a travel insurance policy to cover your whole party.
I am over 70 and plan to do some trekking on holiday, will you still cover me?
Travel insurance policies we provide to over 70s include cover as standard for many pursuits such as trekking and hiking to a height of up to 2000 metres.
We can also extend your cover to include hiking or trekking up to a height of 3000 metres if you’re feeling more adventurous.
