Pet cancellation and curtailment
Cover to cancel or cut short your holiday if your cat or dog becomes ill
This option extends the cancellation and curtailment section of your travel insurance to include unrecoverable holiday costs, such as transport, accommodation, and foreign car hire, if your pet dog or cat needs emergency life-saving treatment.
Cancellation cover is provided if you are forced to cancel your trip due to your cat or dog needing emergency life-saving treatment in the seven days before your trip starts.
Curtailment cover is provided if you are forced to return home early because your cat or dog needs emergency life-saving treatment whilst you are away.
Cover is up to the amount stated under the main cancellation and curtailment section of your policy.
Pet Cancellation and Curtailment can be added to any of our Gold and Platinum travel insurance policies.
